Dynatech Furnaces, has since 1989, been designing and manufacturing Kilns and High Temperature Furnaces for use upto 1,700 C (3,600 F)

Dynatech has standardized on 3 temperature levels:


  • Upto 1,300 C (2,400 F) in Air atmosphere
    Using Silicon carbide Heaters & Ceramic Fiber Insulation

  • Upto 1,500 C (3,000 F) in Air atmosphere
    Using Silicon Carbide Heaters & Ceramic Module insulation

  • Upto 1,700 C (3,400 F) in Air atmosphere
    Using Kanthal Super Heaters and Rigid Ceramic Board insulation

Dynatech offers these kilns and furnaces as:

  • Standard Hinged Door Batch Furnaces & Kilns

  • Hat Kilns with hat moving up-down

  • Shuttle or Car Kilns on rails with single or double doors

Heat Source:

  • Electric Resistance Heating Type
    Using Silicon Carbide or Kanthal Super Heating Elements

  • LPG or Natural Gas Firing type
    Using Motorized Valve Controlled Gas Burners

Insulation Design:

  • Refractory Brick for standard kind to ensure large thermal mass equilibrium at soak for better temperature uniformity

  • Ceramic Fiber blankets and modules for light weight rapid heating kilns/ furnaces and also rapid cooling requirement for use upto 1,500 C

  • Rigid ceramic fiber insulation boards for electric heating 1,700 C kilns/ furnaces for rapid heat up and rapid cool down requirements

  • Unique design for low skin temperature

Control Systems & Sensors:

  • PID Control with SCR Thyristor Firing on primary side of step down transformers for electric heating or Motorized Valve PID control for gas fired systems

  • Damper regulation to ensure kiln/ furnace pressure maintenance

  • Furnace uniformity to achieve product sintering or other process requirement but can reach or exceed +/- 2 C (+/- 5 F)

  • Platinum-Rhodium R or S Type for upto 1,500 C (3,000 F) and for use upto 1,700 C (3,400 F)

  • PC based SCADA or Touch Screen Display Control System with Remote Access facility
